NL: Lots of sun accompanies the start of the FlowerTrials

The FlowerTrials officially took off this morning, with about 60 breeders presenting their latest genetics at some 25 different locations in the Westland and Amsterdam regions in the Netherlands and in Germany. As is the case every year, a festive mood takes possession of the whole industry involved.

Up left clockwise: The team of Gruppo Padana from Italy, the ladies from French breeding company Clause, Daria Dlugosz and Peggy van der Leij with Perfect plants, a company specialized in tissue culture, and Ard Ammerlaan with Prudac.

As is no less traditional, the weather conditions are again particularly inviting, so for those who have not yet done so: take a look at the map here and plan a nice tour this week along the crème de la crème of the Dutch and international ornamental plant breeders.

From all corners of the world, growers, trading companies, and retailers have descended on the local Dutch production areas again these days. Moreover, the GreenTech, the Netherlands' largest horticultural trade fair, is taking place this week, equally attracting the interest of the international horticulture scene.

FloralDaily is on the road again, visiting as many participants as we can and presenting to you an overview of all there is to do and to see. Stay tuned for more!
