International DCM Meeting 2023 hands out top prize for strawberry concept

Last week, DCM hosted its annual international meeting. Colleagues from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, and the US, all working in the professional sector, turned up for a 2-day meeting and event. In a rapidly changing world where cooperation and innovation are essential, DCM thus creates a lively platform where colleagues with diverse expertise and origins come together. The meeting is an ideal opportunity to share knowledge and benefit from each other's experiences in a stimulating environment.

Strawberry concept wins prize
The meeting featured inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and an educational, but certainly not less competitive, competition DCM shares in this report. Colleagues from different countries and with diverse expertise shared their insights and practical experiences, from strawberry to cucumber, from ornamental cultivation to medicinal cannabis, from cuttings to turf establishment, from substrates over-fertilization to biostimulants and biocontrol.

These interactive sessions encouraged an exchange of practical ideas across countries, with varying uses in products and experiences resulting in lively discussions and concrete, new ideas. "It was inspiring to see how the international teams were formed across topics and worked together to come up with innovative concepts and solutions."

The strawberry concept to achieve a resilient tray plant went home with the top prize.

Under the motto "work hard, play hard," the evening continued to connect in French, German, English, and Dutch in DCMs!

Moving forward with confidence
With this successful international meeting behind them, the DCM al team is looking confidently to the future. "We are convinced that the ideas and insights gained at this meeting will enable us to reach new heights and excel in our industry."

DCM thanks all colleagues who contributed to the success of this meeting. "For each other and with each other, and for our customers, off we go!"
