L & G Agroflowers reflecting on their FlowerTrials visit:

"We’re so excited to start to sell all those beautiful, colorful lines in Colombia"

The FlowerTrials attracted a lot of international interest, which was very well appreciated by the participating breeders, but how was it for foreign visitors to experience the FlowerTrials? The team of L & G Agroflowers from Colombia, who not only went to the Flower Trials but also participated in the Calla and Lily open days at Zabo Plants and Dümmen Orange, tells us about their experience.

"We went to the FlowerTrials 2023 event with a lot of enthusiasm because, since COVID-19, we couldn't travel, enjoy and learn about new marketing; so we went with the idea of knowing the news in varieties and updates in new trends and colors in all of the lines that we sell in Colombia. Europe is always a continent that we need to follow in the marketing of plants.", says Gustavo Ochoa, Commercial Manager at L & G Agroflowers, formerly known as Gloeckner Colombia.

Also, they were participating in the Callas and Lilys open days. "In those days, we were in the Zabo Plants and Dummen Orange stand and saw a great variety of new colors such as cut flowers and pot flowers. It was a very enriching and motivational experience because we could talk with some of the biggest brand house managers, such as KP Holland, PanAmerican Seed, Beekenkamp, Benary, Vitro Plus, Schoneveld, Sakata, and Syngenta. They explained to us in a gentle and very kind way how they produce, made, and sold all those varieties that we were interested in. We're so excited to start to sell all those beautiful, colorful lines in Colombia!"
