NL: Intratuin prepares for Christmas

Despite the exceptionally warm September, the jingle bells are ringing at Intratuin Netherlands. With just three months to go, the garden center chain is gearing up for the Christmas season. Preparations for the Christmas shows are in full swing, with entrepreneurs working hard, sometimes helped by enthusiastic Christmas enthusiasts, to make it a magical world.

Peter Paul Kleinbussink, director of Intratuin Nederland, is looking forward to the approaching festive month and notices that consumers are doing the same: "Several sneak previews of the Christmas shows are already being shared on the local social media pages of our shops. We can see the excitement among our customers in the many positive comments. It seems people can't wait, especially to discover the latest trends and their favorite Christmas decorations. The urge to decorate the house is undeniable."

Building up the Christmas shows
In the run-up to the opening of the Christmas shows around mid-October, all entrepreneurs of the 55 shops, therefore, started building them early. Not least because it is one of the most important periods of the year for garden centers, each shop is transformed into an enchanting Christmas landscape, sometimes with the help of enthusiasts recruited especially for the Christmas period. From twinkling Christmas lights to beautifully decorated Christmas trees and elaborate Christmas villages, the Christmas shows promise to be an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

A taste of trends and cooperation with Het Goed
As in previous years, Intratuin aims to prove itself as a trendsetter in the decoration world. In addition, the garden center once again encourages visitors to hand in old Christmas decorations at the shops, which are then donated to thrift store chain Het Goed. The surrendered items get a second chance to shine through Het Goed's shops.
