Hanseatic cities celebrate 800th anniversary with Amaryllis pop-up stores

On Saturday, October 14, six Amaryllis stores will pop up in the Hanseatic region in the Netherlands. That will be in partnership with ABC florists in the area. On that weekend, the Hanseatic cities celebrate their 800th anniversary. The pop-up stores will be decorated with a large assortment of amaryllis that people can also buy. Growers and traders can visit these stores, too.

The participating florists invite customers to explore and purchase the amaryllis that will transform their stores into a beautiful flower paradise. All Amaryllis growers, traders, and lovers are welcome to visit the respective florists. For them, it is a good opportunity to interact with consumers and share their Amaryllis knowledge.

The six participating ABC florists are Bloemsierkunst Markerink in Zutphen, Bloembinderij De Ank in Zeddam, Beo Bloembinders in Varsseveld, Olthuis-Takken Bloemkunst in Doetinchem, Bloemsierkunst Wijnbergen in Laren, Bloemsierkunst Bouwmeester in Neede, and Timmermans & Mulder in Winterswijk.

A peek behind the screens at Amazone Amaryllis
To further increase the ABC florists' involvement, they can visit Amaryllis grower Maarten Zonneveld's company, Amazone Amaryllis, before the exhibition and store promotions. They will, thus, get an exclusive look behind the scenes.
