Water Ways Technologies' Canadian subsidiary, Heartnut Grove, received an order for a smart irrigation system from a large flower nursery located in Ontario. The project covers an area of 4.5 hectares of Peonies being grown on sandy soil, which requires a low flow rate with small emitter spacing to avoid draining and leaching of water and fertilizers to the lower level of the soil.
HGWWT will provide a smart drip irrigation system, fully automated by a radio frequency control system, a fertigation station, and automatic filtration systems to ensure water and nutrient availability.
The C$77,000 is expected to be supplied to the client in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023.
Ohad Haber, the company's chairman and CEO, commented: "This is the first time we are delivering a smart irrigation system to a flower nursery in Canada. After the successful implementation of the system, we expect other nurseries in Canada to follow. Furthermore, I wish to advise our shareholders that our business continues as normal despite the current war in Israel."
