Koen Pack Canada is constructing a new facility, located just 200 meters from their current building, expected to begin in 2024.
Marco Zwaan, CEO of Koen Pack, North America, shares: “The building will reflect Koen Pack’s focus on innovation and sustainability with the use of energy-efficient and renewable energy design, high-tech warehouse technologies, and sustainable building components.
The new facility will double its current capacity and will open its doors to customers with a beautiful showroom, providing space to display a growing assortment of products, such as hard goods and upgrade offerings.”

Koen Pack made the decision in 2010 to continue its success and start a new company in Canada. Having already supplied the Canadian market, a unique opportunity was realized to take control of the entire supply chain, from production to final delivery. Starting off in Stoney Creek, they quickly outgrew their location and wanted to be closer to their customers. This led them to where they are today: Beamsville.
Beamsville, Ontario, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, boasts the highest concentration of greenhouses dedicated to floriculture in Canada. Koen Pack’s strategic location means that they can quickly respond to customers’ needs. Their proximity to the highway makes this an ideal spot logistically and is perfect for customers to visit their fully decorated showroom.
Marco shares: “This community has become our home, we have grown our roots, and we remain committed and dedicated to our customers. We deeply value the relationships we have been able to build with our customers over the last 13 years, and we don’t take their trust and loyalty for granted.”
One of the reasons for Koen Pack’s expansion is to accommodate the growing demand for pot covers. Koen Pack is able to answer that demand by operating highly sophisticated machines that enable them to manufacture their own pot covers.
Marco explains: “Producing the pot covers in Beamsville provides important benefits to our customers. Customers are able to choose customized prints and a choice of different materials, and we are able to offer the pot covers at competitive pricing. With a larger space, we will be increasing our manufacturing capacity by another 75%.”
“Our dreams are bold and innovative, at the same time, a building is just a building, it is what happens inside of it. Our growth is a collective effort, and it is fueled by the hard work and dedication of our team. People are at the heart of our company, and we remain committed to cultivating a culture of progress by creating opportunities for success for both our employees and customers.”
