The award ceremony for the 2023 Asocolflores Cartoon Festival was a vibrant and joyous event filled with talent. The central theme of the festival was the Colombian flower, brilliantly portrayed in the 180 submissions received from individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, young adults, and adults—affiliated with companies in the Antioquia Regional.
Six categories were acknowledged during the ceremony: 6 to 9 years old, 10 to 14 years old, 15 to 18 years old, over 18 years old, people with diverse abilities, and digital drawing. The first five places in each category were honored, resulting in a total of 30 prizes awarded, each accompanied by a respective certificate of participation.
This festival was organized by Asocolflores in collaboration with the Colombia Más Positiva newspaper and received support from the Llanogrande Complex, where the heartfelt awards ceremony took place on Thursday, November 9.
Asocolflores recognizes the significance of cartoons as a form of artistic expression. The winners, drawing inspiration from flowers, also paid homage to their nurturing parents and the Colombian floriculture industry.
