Gentily takes additional production site into use

As of December 1, 2023, Gentily has taken over the existing greenhouse of The House of Lilies at Vierschaar 15. This cultivation location is centrally located between Gentily's two prior locations at the Heenweg and the Groeneweg in 's-Gravenzande. Together with the fourth location in Kwintsheul, this makes the available cultivation area a total of 7.6 hectares.

Continuity in quality
The greenhouse is already equipped for lily cultivation. Besides replacing the lighting, commissioning will require few other modifications. In this 16,000 m2 greenhouse, the focus will be on the cultivation of the pink OT. The cultivation of the other varieties that Gentily offers; La, Oriental and the white OT, are divided over the other three locations. By splitting the cultivation, it is possible to better focus on the right care for each variety, which benefits the quality.

Year-round supply
To keep the supply adequate, they are always looking at opportunities to expand the cultivation area. The facilities already available and the favorable location were decisive in the purchase of this greenhouse. An additional 2,200,000 lilies are expected to be produced annually, allowing customer demand to continue to be met. The first lilies are expected to be delivered around Christmas.
