4More Technology fully engaged in production for 2024

4More Technology is currently in full swing with its production for 2024. Mid-October, a "Try before you buy" day was organized by 4MT. Potential customers had the opportunity to view and test the IRISS Hydrangea sorter, experiencing firsthand how easy it is to set up and change sorting programs. This event was successful, as again multiple IRISS Hydrangea systems have been sold for 2024.

Additionally, with the sale of the first IRISS Hydrangea mobile unit abroad, the first steps towards the international market have been taken. The IRISS Hydrangea mobile is particularly suitable due to its limited investment and compact design. The ability to remotely view the customer's operation allows for easy assistance with sorting program setup and in case of any issues. All that’s required is a stable internet connection and an electrical connection.

Furthermore, there are ongoing efforts to develop various rose sorters for Dutch and European customers. These sorters are also equipped with the IRISS camera system. Introduced in 2016 as a replacement for the outdated camera system from the 1990’s on existing rose sorters in the market, the IRISS system has been continually improved and adapted over the years. This ensures it remains up-to-date and can meet the stringent quality requirements for cut roses.

Sorting with IRISS creates more uniformity in bunches, including uniformity in bud size, bud height, maturity, and color. Additionally, the system is much more accurate in measuring the stem length. By measuring in millimeters, the stem length can be determined more precisely, resulting in greater yield through increased uniformity and length. In addition, information from each rose is stored, If desired in combination with harvest data from Priva. This provides valuable insights into the yield from the greenhouse.
