Despite the number of visitors and participating companies being lower than in previous editions, IPM Essen is still the place to be for those in the green business. Therefore, with great pleasure, we made our tour again and our extensive photo report.

At the trade show, you can get a taste of the market as a whole. Everything and everyone breathes "sustainability," and so the venue was bursting with sustainable innovations, solutions, products, etc. People are also, like always, breeding, propagating, producing, and marketing flowers and plants, and they are more than happy to come here to show it all off. Numerous awards are presented, and people come to meet the 'world of potential buyers' that can be found here every year.
This year, IPM Essen was visited by 36,000 people, and over 1,400 companies from 43 countries were represented. The fair organization shares that, compared to other years, the fair audience has become a lot more international. Also, the percentage of fair visitors with purchasing authority increased from 66 percent in 2023 to 71 percent in 2024. "This is precisely what makes a high-caliber trade fair. Despite the ongoing rail strike significantly restricting travel, the right visitors were on site," explains Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.
