UK: Boston wildflower seed firm want to move to Wigtoft as current lease is being terminated

One of the country's largest producers of wildflower seeds wants to continue its operations on a new site after being given warning that their current lease is being terminated.

Growing Wild Ltd has applied for planning permission to install cabins, storage containers, and polytunnels on land in Wigtoft.

The firm owns the site on Washdike Drove but also currently operates on land owned by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust on Sibsey Road, Boston, next to Pilgrim Hospital.

"Our lease has been terminated by the ULHT, and we need to vacate the site by November 30," a letter written to Boston Borough Council planners by managing director David Jenkins explains.
