Data conducted by UK plant nursery Ashridge Trees shows the nations floral preferences, revealing insights into Coventry's green spaces and gardening habits.
The analysis, which focused on popular flower-related searches over the past year, found that Coventrians have a penchant for roses, with an average of 791 monthly searches dedicated to cultivating these timeless blooms.
Following closely behind is the poppy, capturing second place with 584 searches, while the sunflower basks in third place with 543 searches.
Julian de Bosdari, CEO of Ashridge Trees said: "The rose being crowned the nation's number one flower for home gardening may come as no surprise to avid gardeners.
They're adored for their beauty, fragrance and symbolism of love, which is why they are often considered the most romantic choice for Valentine's Day."
