Many things are happening in the industry, and growers over here are no strangers to the usual challenges overseas colleagues face daily.

One of the main talks of the town was indeed how the Mexican market is struggling with the most precious resource: water. Apparently, water used to be around 20-30 meters deep underground. However, now it went further down to 130 meters deep, making it more difficult and costly for growers to reach that.
It doesn't end there unfortunately, as water has a lack of CO2 because of the different temperatures. Many companies have stepped up to make that water safe for crops with many different types of solutions.

Another challenge that unites growers all over is labor: Mexican growers are too struggling to find enough labor to meet the demand. Lots of labor is going abroad or funnels to bigger companies.
