NL: Stichting EPS is looking for more innovative ideas

The Stichting EPS (European Plant Support) seeks to advance the nursery stock industry. This often translates into providing financial support for significant initiatives. EPS believes that more can be undertaken to propel the industry forward. As such, a second round is being announced for 2024. EPS is currently seeking innovative ideas for the tree nursery industry, with the aim of providing financial contributions to worthy projects.

Nursery stock trade fair GrootGroenPlus
At the beginning of 2024, trade fair GrootGroenPlus submitted a proposal to increase the number of international buyers attending the fair. Through this project, a targeted focus can be placed on potential exhibitors and the promotion of trade in visually appealing nursery stock products, encouraging international visits to GGP. Based on the project proposal, a professional jury decided to award financial support for this year's 39th edition of the trade fair and potentially for future editions as well.

Second round
Inspired by the ideas submitted during the first round, Stichting EPS has decided to announce a second round and support another project with a financial contribution. Applicants can submit their ideas, provided they align with the goals of Stichting EPS. These goals include stimulating the quality of tree nursery products in general, promoting the sales of tree nursery products, and undertaking all activities related to or contributing to these objectives. A panel of 8 experts will evaluate the submissions, and the best entries will have the opportunity to present their ideas to this jury. Collaborative projects are highly encouraged. The initiatives that receive funding will also have the opportunity to present their project and/or results at the 34th edition of trade fair GrootGroenPlus, from 2-4 October in Zundert. To participate, submit your idea along with a detailed project plan and budget by 1 September 2024. Submit your plan, along with a description and any photo or video materials, as soon as possible via [email protected].
