Gebroeders Grootscholten in Kwintsheul grows a wide range of summer flowers, cyclamen and other seasonal products. The farm covers 9 hectares. HT Verboom realised a complete cultivation system in their new greenhouse in Kwintsheul. The greenhouse is equipped with a high-quality mobile container system, a multi-layer set-up for growing or storing plants, several lifts and cranes and a container washer. The HortiTrack software takes care of its complete control. The grower now knows where which container is in the greenhouse at any time of the day.
John Grootscholten is one of the owners. Automation is very important to them, as they see it becoming increasingly difficult to find staff.
