A succulent with an Olympic flavour

It is a real sports summer this year with the European Football Championship, the Tour de France and soon the Olympic Games. The latter mega sporting event gave Amigo Plant an idea. With the help of some water-based paint, an Echeveria Miranda coloured Olympia was realised, which is also for sale via Floriday. And no worries, writes salesman Jacco Huibers on LinkedIn, the plant really can withstand the paint for which the necessary safety sheets are also present.

At the succulent grower, they are also active with glitter. For glittering succulents, they are going to use Natureglit® biodegradable glitter from now on, it was recently announced. The new glitter line will become the standard glitter in the glitter range.

The new glitter is made of a 35-micron cellulose-based film that is biodegradable according to OECD Guideline 301F. This means that the glitter particles break down naturally, achieving over 71% biodegradation in just 28 days.
