Piet Rensen retires

And then suddenly that day arrived, you knew that it would come one day, but never really thought about. The day that Piet Rensen retired and had his farewell moment at PDI. PDI said goodbye to a "legend" on Thursday and briefly summarized what Piet has meant to PDI:

"Piet has been involved with PDI for more than 40 years. Piet has been with us since the company was founded in 1984. First as an assembly subcontractor, and later as a foreman. Then, many people in the Dutch Westland got to know Piet. Eventually, Piet ended up in the service and planning department, where his knowledge and skills shone even brighter."

It is almost impossible to imagine PDI without Piet, and we will certainly need some time to get used to it. His colleagues want to thank Piet for his commitment and for growing along with PDI in those past 40 years.

The slightly longer 'summary' of Piet's career already appeared online on this channel a few years ago: "Suddenly the chef pulled a gun from under his apron".
