Shawn Pattison new COO of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association

Shawn Pattison has been elected as the incoming chief operating officer (COO) at The Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA).

Pattison brings more than a decade of experience supporting national organizations during periods of growth and transition. With previous roles including national field director for Concerned Veterans for America and vice president of operations at StandTogether, his expertise extends to consulting services driven by coalition building, advocacy and corporate public affairs.

"We are thrilled to welcome Shawn to our team," said Tal Coley, chief executive officer, at FNGLA. "His proven track record of operational excellence and innovative thinking makes him the perfect fit for our organization."

Pattison's career is marked by his commitment to mission-driven work and his ability to cultivate cohesive teams that deliver results. Most recently, he has supported leaders in strategic organizational planning, implementation and change management initiatives.

His early experience includes working on two tree farms, managing his own small landscaping business and planting an estate vineyard. He is an alumnus of Hampden-Sydney College and a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

Linda Adams, FNGLA's longtime chief operating officer, is transitioning into retirement.

"During her 40 years with FNGLA, Linda has played an integral role in fostering the success of the association and cultivating a capable team of professionals," said Coley. "Her countless contributions and dedication will be missed."
