IAA Fresh on the ITF Flowerbulb Tennis Tournament

"A memorable event, setting a high bar for future editions"

This year, the ITF Flowerbulb Tennis Tournament (July 14th till July 21st) sponsored by IAA Fresh took place. Among the players, rising stars and seasoned professionals alike showcased their skills on the clay courts. Spectators gathered to witness high stakes matches under the sunny skies.

According to IAA Fresh, the tournament's opening day saw an impressive turnout, with tennis enthusiasts and locals watching the games on the beautiful courts which Hillegom has.

IAA Fresh: "One of the standouts matches of the tournament was the final between Yui Komada, a promising young player from Japan, and Carla Giambelli, a seasoned pro from Italy. The match was intense, with both players demonstrating exceptional skill and determination. In the end, Giambelli grabbed the victory."

The other final was played by two players named Michael Antonius from the USA, and Hidde Schoenmakers from The Netherlands. In the end, Schoenmakers emerged victorious. Schoenmakers also won the doubles with a fellow Dutch player Sander Paradis.

Another Dutchman who once won the tournament, is Jesper de Jong. He is currently ranked 119 of the world and played against 3 of the top 4 players this year. And in the same week of the ITF Flower Bulb Tournament, he played against Alexander Zverev. Also, Alex de Minaur has won the tournament a few years ago. He is now ranked 9th of the world, and reached it to the quarter finals of Roland Garros and Wimbledon this year, as stated by IAA Fresh.

IAA Fresh says: "The blend of sportsmanship, deployment of the volunteers and the organization, and community spirit made it a memorable event, setting a high bar for future editions. The collaboration between ITF Flower Bulb Tournement Hillegom and IAA Fresh had highlighted outstanding tennis."
