UK: Unusually late purple explosion in lavender fields for Cornwall's Eden Project

Recent warm, wet weather during spring has resulted in colorful displays of lavender in an area of the Eden Project from Cornwall.

The lavender also bloomed later than it normally does, leading to visits from not only holiday goers, but also bees and other pollinators. During more usual weather conditions, visitors on summer holiday is not the regular crowd, and this time they had a rare opportunity.

Other plants such as the carnivorous plants in the project gardens also benefited from this weather.
