What kind of organization is InWaTec Combined?
"InWaTec is a service provider in the field of wireline and mini coiled tubing. It was founded in 2020 with people who have been active in this field for many years. As a result, we have established a name for ourselves in a relatively short time with renowned customers in geothermal energy and the oil & gas industry. We regularly encounter challenges in the geothermal sector. For this reason, we try to think along with the customer in all areas, and we work with the customer to find a good solution."
What are InWaTec's activities in the field of geothermal energy?
"We are mainly concerned with wireline and mini coiled tubing. Think of the electronic logging of wells, and unning mechanical tools on slickline. With mini coil we mainly do the installation or expansion of chemical injection lines, including the flatpack strings. In the area of logging we now often use the eSlickline. This gives us real-time data while the chance of standard contamination of the cable is considerably less than when we would use an E-Line. Moreover, less material and people are needed. In addition, ours services supervisors work for various customers."
What is your role?
"As operations manager, my main task is to ensure that projects are properly prepared and completed. To successfully complete a project, personal contact and good relationship with customers are important."
Why did InWaTec become a member of Geothermie Nederland?
"We became a member to broaden our network in the geothermal energy industry, and to further develop this sustainable technology in the Netherlands. We have been doing this for years, as a member of Geothermie Nederland we try to share our knowledge with others."
