NL: Hydrangea Paniculata in all colours, species and varieties

Hydrangeas have bloomed profusely all summer long, including the ones at Vlasveld Tuintechnieken from Boskoop. At their nursery, which specializes in growing Hydrangea Paniculata in pots, hydrangeas are in almost every color, species and variety imaginable.

Peter Vlasveld, of the company of the same name, is proud of his plants: "You can see that the season is nearing its end and the hydrangeas have had their best time. Fortunately, we have many different varieties in our range with lots of diversity and beautiful colors. Our specialty is especially in the large sizes." Among others, Magical Starlight, Polar Bear, Bonfire, Mojito, and Confetti are Hydrangea Paniculata that can be found in his nursery.

The Hydrangea Paniculata Confetti is his showpiece, which he proudly shows off during Plantarium|Groen-Direkt: "Look what a beautiful plant. It bears the name confetti for a reason, with these confetti-like flowers. This one is also blooming quite well now, but its peak remains in mid-summer." The Confetti blooms from early summer to late autumn and is compact, so it does well in a pot on terrace or balcony.

Hydrangea Paniculata are one of the most popular varieties of hydrangea. The plant is best known for the plume-like structure of its petals, which makes the flowers grow in large clusters. In addition, the plant is relatively low-maintenance. The relatively mild temperatures and regular rainfall in the Netherlands have contributed to the healthy growth and flowering of hydrangeas this season.
