Belgium growers open doors during Agriculture Day

"Ensure that our farmers can continue to produce sustainable food here in Flanders, Belgium." That was the clear message stressed by chairman Lode Ceyssens at the official opening of Agriculture Day, which took place last Sunday. Several greenhouse farms, and remarkably also two tomato growers, participated. They opened their greenhouses, with the necessary hygiene measures, according to a photo report.

At Mark and Mia Vertommen-Devos' tomato and pepper farm Rijtak, visitors could see tomatoes, as well as algae.
