China: Using smart energy for sustainable growing

As the National Day holiday approaches, the flower market experiences a surge in sales. On the morning of September 24, the Butterfly Valley in Suqian city, Jiangsu province, bustled with activity. Workers were busy selecting, sorting, packaging, and delivering phalaenopsis to the flower market.

Qiao Chuang, the project leader of Butterfly Valley, opened the "State Grid Online" app on his mobile phone, entered the account number and selected the month. The electricity bill for August was displayed: showing a significant increase of 60 percent compared to the previous month.
