US (KY): Lexington flower shop, cafe ‘picking up the pieces’ after fallen tree damages historic greenhouse frames

The staff of a Lexington flower shop and cafe took to social media on Sunday to reflect after severe winds brought down a large tree on the property, damaging two historic greenhouse frames.

Michler's Florist posted on Facebook that around 10 a.m. on Friday, a Hackberry tree was reportedly blown down by strong winds, crushing the vine-covered framings of two historic greenhouse structures. On the flower shop's website, owner John Michler wrote some notes about the history of the structures that were damaged during Friday's heavy rain and winds.
