Dutch platform offers florists direct access to grower's supply

Want to buy the freshest flowers and plants directly from the grower? This is now possible via the new shop KwekerDirect from online flower wholesaler Bloomer. The platform offers florists direct access to the grower's current supply. This allows florists to buy directly from the source.

Buying directly from the grower
With the launch of the new shop KwekerDirect, Bloomer seeks to respond to the wishes of florists. "Our customer base demands the freshest possible flowers and plants of the highest quality. KwekerDirect shows the available supply, what the grower currently has growing in his greenhouse. The florist can immediately order the quantities needed, after which the grower harvests the order and transports it to Bloomer. We then deliver it to the flower shop overnight. It doesn't get any fresher," says Bloomer manager Youri.

Selected growers
Only selected growers will be added to the new shop KwekerDirect. "KwekerDirect is a growing sales platform. The more growers, the bigger the fresh assortment for the florist," says Youri.

"Benefits for all parties involved"
KwekerDirect aims to offer favorable benefits for all parties involved. "For growers, Bloomer's new platform is an additional sales channel. It gives them the opportunity to offer their total assortment, partly consisting of exclusive products and limited edition items. This gives florists access to a larger and fresher range, allowing them to stand out with unique flower varieties. An additional advantage is that our customers can order in small quantities, allowing them to offer a wide range in their flower shop," says Youri.
