Ball SB has provided an update after a week of activities at Ball Kenya, highlighted by their Open Days event from September 17-19 at its new R&D station, followed by a showing at the Naivasha Horticultural Fair on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21.
The Open Days event at the Kenyan R&D station in Naivasha drew over 15 key guests, including major growers in Kenya, as well as commercial partners from Europe and the UK. "This was a significant milestone for Ball SB, being the first event of its kind since it began operations at Ball Kenya two years ago and launched the trial station one year ago."
During the event, guests had the opportunity to view an array of varieties suitable for both greenhouse and open field growing. The standout varieties showcased included:
Delphiniums, Dianthus, Limonium hybrids, New Limonium Sinuatums with unique colors, Campanulas, Marigolds, Tracheliums, Lisianthus, Dahlias, Sunflowers, Echinaceas, Achilleas, and The new Ageratum JJ.
To cap off the week, Ball SB participated in the Naivasha Horticultural Fair on Friday and Saturday. "This event provided another fantastic opportunity to meet and greet many of the company's current customers, as well as those they didn't get a chance to see during the Open Days." Ball SB has also announced that Ball Kenya won the prize for Best Stand in the flower segment at this fair.
