Farmers in Da Nang have started to grow flowers and ornamental plants in a bid to prepare for the 2025 Tet market, the most important crop of the year. Currently, they are boldly expanding their scale and producing new types of flowers and ornamental plants to meet market demand.

These days, the enthusiastic working ambiance has been recorded at the Duong Son flower growing area in Hoa Chau Commune, Hoa Vang District. Farmers here have begun planting chrysanthemums for Tet since the middle of the 8th lunar month.
Mr. Ly Phuoc Dang, Head of the Duong Son Flower Production Cooperative, said that the Duong Son flower growing area has an area of about 4.5 hectares with 19 households growing flowers and ornamental plants. At this time, the households mainly grow chrysanthemums, marigolds, dahlias, and hanging flowers for the Tet crop.
