Where the day started with a small ray of sunshine, it still ended with rain. Fortunately, there was no sign of it inside during the 34th edition of GrootGroenPlus, where over 270 exhibitors were present. On the first day, there was already a good run-up and occasionally even a small traffic jam in the walkways.

The fair was held for the second year in a row at Treeport in Rijsbergen (Zundert). Most of the exhibitors present work in tree nurseries, with several suppliers involved in transport, mechanization, and (re)potting. Like previous editions, the fair was again structured according to the IKEA principle. From a central hall, you could go in three directions, looping each time and returning to the central square. There, novelties were presented and catering could also be found.
Besides a large turnout of Dutch companies, some Italian, Polish, and English could be heard in the corridors and at the exhibition stands. Diana from Leenders Plants said that they were back at the fair for a long time: "It is nice to be here again nd to see both our Dutch and international customers again."
