NL: Newwen, Paardekooper announce partnership

Newwen and Paardekooper have officially announced a new partnership. The two companies aim to make the logistics sector more sustainable and efficient.

In collaboration with Paardekooper, Newwen will introduce plastic (PP) transport boxes that can be reused multiple times. These boxes can be equipped with IoT technology such as RFID and QR codes. Paardekooper will serve as Newwen's distribution partner, bringing these products to market.

"Cardboard packaging remains the most popular choice, but the market is increasingly demanding sustainable alternatives. Newwen's reusable plastic boxes provide an answer to this demand. These packages can be reused up to 25 times, are easy to clean, and are available in both new and recycled materials. The plastic boxes align seamlessly with the sustainability goals of the Green Deal, as they contribute to CO2 reduction and save space during transport."

Edwin Vanlaerhoven, Managing Director Horti at Paardekooper, says about the partnership: "The decision to include Newwen's reusable PP boxes in our assortment fits perfectly within this vision. Through this collaboration, we strengthen our role as a leader in sustainable packaging solutions."

The collaboration between Paardekooper and Newwen aims to lead to the introduction of various products within the Horti and Agri sectors. The companies hope that Plastic PP boxes and reusable containers equipped with the latest technologies are just a few examples of what will be introduced.
