'Over 100,000 imported orchids from China monitored in Primorsky'

The Primorsky Interregional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor inspected the sixth batch of orchids imported from China in 2024 at the phytosanitary control post "Pogranichny" in Primorsky Krai. On October 4, a total of 103,700 young plants were imported into the region.

This summer, large shipments of young orchids began arriving through the Primorsky phytosanitary posts. In total, Primorye has imported 526,200 orchids this year, with the products being exported by a company from China's Yunnan Province.

The latest shipment of orchids also consists of young plants without flowers or buds.

Following the inspection, it was confirmed that the products met the phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation.
