United Selections’ passion, innovation, and partnerships in full bloom

“At the core of everything we do is the belief in partnerships”

"This past week in Ecuador with Alina Neacsa was a remarkable journey of capturing the essence of United Selections", says the breeder's CEO Jelle Posthumus. Traveling across the country, they created several videos to tell the story of who they are, what drives them as a company and team, and how they aim to present themselves within the flower industry. "One of the key messages we want to convey is our strong belief in the power of teamwork and the great passion we have for the work we do. We are committed to the flower industry because we truly believe that flowers bring happiness to people's lives."

Their collaboration with Alina began in 2019, when they embarked on their first project together in partnership with Thursd and Adalonia. "That initial venture, featuring Alina's creative insights, laid the foundation for the incredible storytelling we've since developed. Through this partnership, we've been able to merge Alina's unique perspective with our passion for innovation in the floral world, allowing us to better share the passion, dedication, and teamwork that defines us at United Selections."


Nova Vita.

One standout example of their collaboration with Alina is the work they have done to promote and highlight specific varieties, such as Nova Vita and Cafecita. "With Alina's creative approach, we've been able to present these varieties in a different, more engaging way. The video content created for Cafecita, a unique coffee-colored rose grown by Porini Flowers in Kenya, set a new standard for how we tell the story of our flowers. Through dynamic visuals and storytelling, we've brought out not only the beauty of these varieties but also the deeper narrative of innovation and passion behind them."

"As we continue this journey, we're excited to not only share more of these stories but also showcase the advanced technology and new breeding tools we've adopted. These innovations are helping us elevate our breeding program to new heights, ensuring that we are prepared for the future of the flower industry."

As this journey and storytelling continue, they are looking forward to some exciting things at the upcoming IFTF in Vijfhuizen, where they will have their stand again at the B3.12 spot. "We'll present a great showcase of our varieties, alongside our partner Konst Alstroemeria. Looking ahead to next year, we're planning our next trip with Alina to Colombia, and most likely Kenya again."
