Though the weather may be gloomy, one local flower market is helping brighten up the day for strangers in the city of good neighbors.
"Whether you're pushing somebody that's stuck in the snow out of their parking spot from the night before, or you're giving away flowers, it kind of rounds out Buffalo," said Robert Booth, a manager with Maureen's Buffalo Wholesale Flower Market.
Their market has been helping grow happiness in Buffalo for more than 27 years. They've become a Western New York staple for weddings, funerals, events, holidays, and everyday flowers.
"It's just good for the soul to be around them, to receive them," said Booth. "Maureen had decided everybody deserves flowers, so we really work hard to come up with ways we can give flowers."
