NL: "With Christmas tree rental, we unburden people around Christmas"

Picking out a Christmas tree is quite an experience. With a hot chocolate in your hand, looking for the right tree to enjoy in your home for at least a month. Or is it? Not everyone has time for the elaborate experience, and sometimes a Christmas tree is only needed for a short while. For those moments, Jeroen de Kuijer has his Christmas tree rental service.

"Many companies have events around Christmas, where they need a Christmas tree for a day or a week. For example, we get a call that there is a Christmas party and they need a tree," Jeroen says. "A Christmas tree also looks extra festive at a graduation ceremony, for example."

Indoor and outdoor
The Christmas trees arrive at the clients 'ready to use', including lights, full branches and bring-and-collect service. "We like to unburden people at Christmas, so we bring and collect the Christmas trees with love. Last year, we delivered 20 Christmas trees at a company in Utrecht to dress up the Christmas party. It's a matter of putting up the tree and lights on, and the party could begin. Afterwards, we remove everything again. It saves a lot of time and work for a company."

"We also have lights that are running on a battery," Jeroen continues. "In Amsterdam, they are breaking up a street where we are going to put trees on battery power, this way it is still cosy despite the work, but the trees can also be moved easily. We deliver them like this: ready-made, with battery, and on location. We prepare everything at our site, transport the Christmas trees and they only need to be placed on site."

Denmark
The Christmas trees, ranging from 1.25 to 3 meters high, come from Denmark from a top supplier, according to Jeroen. "That man is an old military man, so the trees are arranged in an orderly fashion," he laughs. "The trees that come in here are top quality, and we are also known for that. From Hoofddorp and surrounding areas, they come here to get a tree. We expect another good season this year too."

The Christmas Tree Farm opens on 23 November.
