Flower Sales Vietnamese Women's Day

On October 20, Vietnamese Women's Day was celebrated with, among others, flowers. Was it a successful day for the flower industry? Online news sources provide mixed reports regarding the flower sales on this day.

According to an article on Vietnam.vn, this year fresh flowers were more expensive than in previous years. Nevertheless, they mention that the price increase did not prevent customers to buy fresh flowers.

Tuoi Tre News reports that the day prior to Vietnamese Women's Day, florists in Ho Chi Minh City expected a decrease in demand for flowers, despite rose prices being lower than last year.
