Avianca Cargo has reaffirmed its position as a player in the global air cargo industry, following its recent participation at the 40th edition of the Air Cargo News Awards, where the airline was the only Latin America cargo airline among the top six on a global scale, Avianca Cargo states.
Diogo Elias, Senior Vice President of Avianca Cargo said: "Being a finalist for Cargo Airline of the Year validates our efforts to continuously improve our fleet, technology, and infrastructure, allowing us to maintain our standard of excellence in the air cargo industry."
According to Avianca Cargo, the size of their fleet (seven A330 aircraft and an expansion plan that includes the addition of three A330 P2F aircraft), their "strong" market presence, their "robust" infrastructure, and their expertise in handling expensive cargo are among the features that help them.
