Bercomex is about to introduce their latest innovation; the new Rosematic bunch-binding station. "This advanced unit elevates rose processing to a new level by combining proven technology with cutting-edge developments in drive and control technology." During the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) 2024, it will be launched.
Key benefits
According to Bercomex B.V., the new bunch-binding station offers several benefits and below they listed the key benefits. "First of all, the stems are cut before they are bound, providing flexibility to reassess the roses. This results in higher quality and less waste. Secondly, the binding height is adjustable to prevent bud breakage on heavy roses, preserving bouquet quality. Thirdly, each fork can hold up to 5 roses, with adjustments to prevent friction damage, ensuring the flower buds remain intact. And finally, each stem is cut individually, ensuring uniform stem length and a visually appealing, high-quality bouquet."
In addition to the bunch-binding station, the Bercomex Rosematic continues to be concerned with the precise and consistent sorting of roses. The AI-supported vision technology classifies the roses according to the highest standards, further ensuring uniformity and quality.
