There are only 7 days left until the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) and the Trade Fair Aalsmeer will start in the Netherlands, hosting visitors from near and far. From 5-7 November these ornamental plant and flower shows allow exhibitors to present their products and services. This year, it's the first time that both three-day events will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As in previous years, the IFTF takes place at the Expo Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen, and the Trade Fair Aalsmeer at the auction location in Aalsmeer.
This year the IFTF organization expect to host 151 flower growers, comprising 53% of the 289 exhibitors, which is a 10% increase relative to last year. These growers include a larger number of Kenyan growers, and growers from Uganda who will participate for the first time. The organization also draws attention to the increased participation of Ethiopian exporters, as well as Colombian and Ecuadorian growers. Among the IFTF exhibitors is our FloralDaily team, which will be present at stand D5.03. The team is also there to make the traditional photo report. Make sure to visit them to share horticulture news, to get a Buyer's Guide, or just for a chat. Click here for the complete IFTF exhibitor list.

According to their website, the organizer of Trade Fair Aalsmeer, Royal Flora Holland, anticipates about 20, 000 visitors and 600 exhibitors. You can find the full exhibitor list here. On the 24, 000 m² exhibition floor in Aalsmeer, visitors can also find the novelty greenhouse (stand 12.9) with 45 novelties and 25 finalists for the Glass Tulip Award, which awards the best market introduction during an official ceremony on 5 November. Of course, also at this fair the FloralDaily team will be running around with their camera, making the photo report and catching up on the latest news in the market.
