Canada: Oshawa Peony festival a finalist for Tourism Event of the Year

The Peony Festival in Oshawa continues to pick up accolades. It is a finalist for the 2024 Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence in the Tourism Event of the Year category. The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this past June has won awards for the past 12 years.

"The City of Oshawa is thrilled that the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario has recognized the Peony Festival as a finalist for Tourism Event of the Year," said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter. "This festival is a hallmark event for our community and receiving this recognition in our centennial year is a remarkable achievement."
