Supported by headline sponsor MPS, host partner IPM Essen, category sponsor GLOBALG.A.P., and Founding Partner FloraCulture International, the 15th edition of the AIPH IGOTY Awards will celebrate ornamental production nurseries from around the globe.
Michael Perry, better known as Mr Plant Geek, returns as MC for the evening, joined by Sirekit Mol, Head of Commercial Operations and Head of Marketing & Retail for Beekenkamp Plants.
The awards will be presented for the four categories: Cut Flowers and Bulbs, Young Plants, Finished Plants and Trees, and Sustainability. From among these categories, only one winner will be crowned the 'AIPH International Grower of the Year 2025' and receive the 'Gold Rose' – Last year Greenwood Plants, UK, won the prize.
AIPH has once again partnered with Jungle Talks for the fourth 'Young International Grower of the Year' Award. Participants of Jungle Talks' Pro Manager Mastercourse will have a chance to pitch their ideas to the jury and the most inspiring candidate will be chosen as the winner.
Finalists will be announced in December 2024. Judging will be conducted by a panel of industry experts who will assess the entrants on five key criteria; economic performance, innovation, market insight, sustainability, and human resources policy.
All winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony on 28th January 2025 at IPM Essen, Germany. Tickets to attend the ceremony cost €120 and include a standing buffet dinner and post-award celebratory drinks. Groups of five are priced at €480, saving 20%, and groups of ten cost €840, saving 30%.
