October 25, 2024, was a day to remember for the still-young cooperation Bio-Plus+. The German horticultural trade journal TASPO (part of Haymarket Media Market) awarded three awards to this company: The 3rd place in the category "Concept Vegetables – Herbs – Fruit Crops", the 3rd place in the category "Cooperation of the Year", and the winner in the category "Environment and Sustainability"
Live on hand and on stage were the managing director Lars Thorwarth and the shareholders/ managers of the four partners forming Bio-Plus+. These are the two producing nurseries Bio–Cordes and Stahl in northern Germany and the two trading companies Reiners and Lüers in the northwestern region of Ammerland.
Bio-Plus+ stands for fruit crops made in Germany from sowing the rootstocks to grafting and producing the trees and finally to selling the finished crops. Production is EU-BIO certified. No chemical plant protection agents, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers are used in this process. Special, less susceptible varieties are chosen and natural ingredients to improve plant vigor and health.
