14th IFTF edition kicks off

For the fourteenth time, the The Expo Greater Amsterdam opened its doors to host the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF). From 5-7 November, 289 exhibitors from 13 different countries will showcase their products and services.

The entrance

Federico santa cruz and Adrian Chandi of Everbloom, an Ecuadorian rose grower which will celebrate their 15th anniversary this year.

Julio Asencio of UVRER presenting their recycling and disinfection of nutritive solutions.

The team of Aquila, rose growers from Kenya.

Striking this year is the increased number of growers with Uganda participating for the first time. From walking down the aisles just this morning, we already heard that many growers have had a challenging year. In Colombia and Ecuador for example the weather has been a major challenge while in Kenya and Uganda the airfreight capacity and costs is worrying growers and importers. Later this week, we will provide you with more information regarding the latest market trends and developments.

Make sure to stop by our FloralDaily stand!
FloralDaily.com is also present at the trade fair with a stand this year. Make sure to visit them at stand D5.28. to share horticulture news, to get a Buyer's Guide, or just for a chat. Of course, the team is taking photos for their traditional photo report, which will be published on Friday, November 8. As always, they will catch up on the latest news in the industry.
