Multilingual tools available for lily growers

Royal Anthos and their lily bulb vendors announced their partnership with the Slow Flowers Society earlier this year. The goal is to teach American flower farmers how easy it is to grow and sell lilies.

Flowerbulb.eu, the promotional arm of Anthos, has a dedicated lily page on its website to inspire and teach all American flower farmers how to grow lilies. It contains The Growing Lilies Master Class in three languages.

Mark-Jan Terwindt, Director of Royal Anthos said "This market sector continues to grow year after year. And, our Master Class will help reach more flower farmers and support them with domestic sales and training.

Slow Flowers Society founder/creative director Debra Prinzing stated: "One of the goals of Slow Flowers is to expand inclusion and representation in the floral marketplace. Having educational resources translated for Spanish- and Hmong-speaking growers and florists is important and will increase knowledge of growing and designing with lilies in more communities."

Peggy Anne Montgomery, an account executive at Garden Media Group, leads this initiative. "There has never been a more exciting time in the lily world. New breeding work is bringing us double flowering varieties, Lilies without pollen, and some without fragrance. New colors are coming too, following trends in the wedding industry."
