Photo report Trade Fair Aalsmeer

With over 600 exhibitors, it was once again very busy in Aalsmeer last week, where plants, cut flowers, pots and much more were showcased. Even though the sector has come under fire recently, hardly anyone seemed to be discouraged by it. Discussions are being held about challenges such as crop protection products and air and sea freight. There is a lot of attention for the new varieties, products in new pot sizes, roses from Ecuador and Kenya, and striking stands.

Last week was packed with all kinds of activities: open houses, parties in the evening, award ceremonies. There were also many product introductions, from biodegradable plant pots and organic flower food to Poinsettias and autumnal sunflowers. All suggesting that the sector is still vibrant. In any case, we have tried to capture a glimpse of this all in our photo report. Did we miss your highlight? Please send us an email!
