The 7th China International Import Exhibition (CIIE) was held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th. About 3496 exhibitors from 129 countries attended the show, and flower and vegetable breeders from all over the world showcased several new varieties.
Top Flower, a lily company in Shanghai, cooperates with several overseas breeders. This time, they brought lilies, phalaenopsis, tulips, hippeastrum, cymbidium, pitcher plants, anthurium, and foliage plants to the exhibition.
The lily variety (Roselily Bryanna) from the Dutch company DeLooff Lily Innovation is newcomer in the Chinese market, and attracted many visitors. Representatives of Zabo Plant and Van Den Bos Flowerbulbs were also present at the event. These flowers were not only shown at the company booths, but also in Shanghai Tower.
At the show, breeders have the opportunity to talk with consumers and learn more about their preferences and the Chinese market. Moreover, this international platform allows the industry to introduce new varieties and receive market feedback.
