Danziger unveils lineup for 2026

According to Danziger, viewers will get a chance to see the future during their InnovationFest Live Stream, as the company is unveiling its launch for the year 2026. This interactive customer experience event seeks to provide education and ideas to help the industry evolve and grow as well as a sneak peek at 2026 selections.

Ori Danziger, deputy CEO said: "Our 2026 lineup features superb genetics that add variety and value. These plants offer excellent heat and drought tolerance, along with interesting habits and on-trend colors. We're proud to add them to our collection."

The 2026 Danziger launch adds a new series along with expansions for the existing series, increasing color options and attributes. "Each new plant offers enhanced value from increased weather tolerance, to improved disease resistance, to earlier blooms."

Here is a preview of just some of the new 2026 Danziger genetics:

Cascadias Lavender Ice Petunia

Cascadias Lavender Ice Petunia is an addition to the Cascadia series. "It was a top pick at Danziger's Michigan trials, and it's quickly become a favorite. The plant produces large flowers with beautiful veins and a unique coloring, with a deep purple center surrounded by silvery lavender hues. This series features a semi-trailing habit that is perfect for premium basics and combinations," states the Danziger team.

Pazzaz Nano Scarlet Twist Portulaca

The team adds: "Pazzaz Nano Scarlet Twist Portulaca is blooming with energy. With solid performance, color-saturated blooms, and good heat and drought tolerance, it's unsurprising that Pazzaz Nano Portulaca are top sellers in North America. The blooms open with the first rays of morning light, infusing the day with dazzling color."

Besties Osteospermum Series

Danziger shares that the Besties Osteospermum Series is about friendship, saying: "This series celebrates the diverse and vibrant relationships that enrich our lives, representing those we love with flowers that are just as beautiful as our friends. Each of the seven colors in this series was bred and selected for their consistent habit and bloom timing. Besties can be grown in a warm greenhouse along with other spring annuals, offering more flexibility for growers."

Nesia Pink Crush Nemesia

"Nesia Pink Crush Nemesia is a new bicolor that's an early bloomer with flowers that last. From soft to vibrant, the shades of pink set against bright green leaves provide contrast and visual appeal. Our Nesia series also has more heat tolerance than other nemesia on the market," they claim.

Gaillardia Gusto Orange Zest

"Gaillardia Gusto Orange Zest is the new must-have for perennial programs, featuring an abundance of glowing, bright orange blooms. This color was a standout in trials, and growers love the flexibility of Gusto's first-year flowering with no vernalization requirements. Each Gaillardia in this series is an excellent addition to quart and gallon programs."
