New Chief Operations Officer for Kenya Flower Council

The Kenya Flower Council has appointed a new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Ms. Catherine Mukoko, brings a distinguished career background, having held senior roles at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE).

Her decision to join KFC is inspired by the Council's strategic role in advancing the growth and sustainability of Kenya's floriculture industry. With a passion for governance, stakeholder collaboration, and policy advocacy, she aims to spearhead initiatives that boost operational efficiency. A flower enthusiast at heart, she's also looking forward to cultivating her "brown thumb" into a thriving "green thumb."

Catherine Mukoko

According to the KFC, Catherine, brings a multifaceted skill set to KFC, including; strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and advocacy. "She is committed to positioning KFC as a global leader in floriculture advocacy, innovation, and sustainability."

With an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Africa Nazarene University, she is also a Certified Professional Trainer and Mediator, and a specialist in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and anti-corruption compliance. Her expertise spans advocacy, policy development, and business partnerships.
