This autumn, 2050 classes received a Bulbs4Kids pack. With 600 bulbs in each pack, more than 1.2 million bulbs were planted in school gardens. More importantly, all these classes learned about flower bulbs in a fun and educational way thanks to the Bulbs4Kids project.
Participating primary schools
The 2050 flower bulb packages were divided among six countries: 450 packages for Dutch primary schools, 825 for German primary schools, 250 for English primary schools, 275 for French primary schools,150 for Canadian primary schools and 100 for Swedish primary schools. These schools had registered in spring via the Bulbs4Kids website.
How it works
The Bulbs4Kids flower bulb pack introduces participating classes to flower bulbs. The pack contains all the ingredients to show and experience how flower bulbs grow into colorful flowers. The package includes different types of flower bulbs, shovels, plant cuttings, workbooks, and a teacher's guide. A fun photo and video competition is also attached to Bulbs4Kids. The grand prize is the Golden Flower Bulb 2025.
