NL: Smiemans provides update on its current projects

First steel columns positioned for botanical glasshouse
Construction of the special greenhouse for Gothenburg's famous botanical garden has begun. Part of the steel for the botanical greenhouse and associated greenhouses with a total area of 3,216 m2 has been installed.

Renovation of the Garden Centre at RuxleyManor
At the beginning of 2025, Smiemans will be replacing the polycarbonate roof of a canopy at Ruxley Manor, a garden center in the UK. The old roof will be removed and replaced with new material.

Transformation and expansion of Hageland Tilseth
In February, Smiemans will start work on the garden center Hageland Tilseth in Volda. The project includes the construction of a 1,200 m² wide-span structure to enable the sale of outdoor plants throughout the year. The main building will also be renovated to make it fit for the future.

Expansion of Longacres without closure
Smiemans will soon start with the expansion of garden center Longacres in England. This will be done without closing the center to visitors.

Meet Smiemans at the IPM from January 28 - 31
From Tuesday 28 to Friday 31 January 2025, the international horticultural industry will gather at IPM Essen. You can visit Smiemans at stand 3B37.
